Description	Ships. City of Seattle (ferry). At dock at foot of Main St.? About 1900. Built 1888 at Portland, Ore. On run between Seattle and West Seattle 1888-1913. Sold in 1913 and became the Benicia running on San Francisco Bay.

Notes	On label attached to verso of photograph: "Ferry dock at West Seattle called Railroad Ave.- at Louisiana St. Railroad Ave. now Harbor Ave. S.W. Building in use as a boat house. 1949. Authority J.J. Dillon 2708-48th Ave. S.W. Av. AV. 0882." Comparison with other images (e.g., MOHAI 1983.10.10816, http://content.lib.washington.edu/u?/imlsmohai,5208) suggests that this the West Seattle, not Main Street, ferry terminal.
Measurements	17.19 x 11.86 cm
Digitization specifications	Master image scanned on Epson 10000 XL flatbed at 600 pixels per inch, 24 bit color, saved as TIFF file. Photoshop used to resize images to 300 ppi and convert to JPEG format. Master image file size: 34,137,006 bytes.
