Description	Playhouse, Hofbrau Haus restaurant, and Jewels of the World, at the Century 21 Exposition (Seattle World's Fair). On the Playhouse, designed by Kirk, Wallace, McKinley & Associates: "An adaptable proscenium which can adjust from 36 to 60 ft. has been designed for the stage of the small theater. A shell arrangement with movable reflectors permits the staging of music events which require an intimate setting. Lobby and foyer are carpeted and fully furnished." (An Architect's Guidebook to the Seattle Worlds Fair. Seattle, Pacific Builder and Engineer, April 1962, p. 27.) On the Hofbrau Haus restaurant, designed by John Graham and Co.: "Eight plywood bays are assembled in 20-ft. diameter vaults, one of largest thin shell spans in this configuration."
