Description	September 15, 1962: Record-setting attendance day for Century 21 Exposition (Seattle World's Fair). “The World’s Fair rocketed to an attendance record of more than 100,000 visitors yesterday. The attendance at 10 o’clock last night totaled 106,138 persons…All the pent-up desire to see the fair before it closes only 35 days from now--plus the spectacular Canadian Tatoo--exploded.” (Stanton H. Patty, Seattle Times, September 16, 1962, p. 1.) Highest attendance day for entire Fair was Oct. 20, 1962: 128,721.
