The Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks (FSOP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Seattle's unique Olmsted landscape heritage and raising awareness of the Olmsted philosophy of providing open space for all people. This collection includes the organization's work on specific projects, historical materials, information about boulevards, parks and residences in the Seattle area and in other cities and the administrative files. Significant portions of the collection document the FSOP work of Douglas Jackson, landscape architect and former FSOP Board President, as well as that of Donald Harris, Seattle Parks and Recreation, Manager and former Trustee of the National Association for Olmsted Parks.
