Continental Cuisine with an Eastern European Flair
Chata (pronounced Ha-ta) is the Polish word
for a thatched roof cottage in a Polish village. Just
as roof thatching has become a lost art in Poland
and most chatas have roofs of materials other than
straw, our Chata here in Talent has a conventional,
rather than thatched roof. However, the warm and
homey traditions of the Polish chatas are not
a lost art and we thank you for letting us
share them with you.
