Description	Opened in 1969 by Francois Kissel, a Frenchman, and his wife, Julia, Brasserie Pittsbourg was a well-known French restaurant that received national recognition. After 16 years, the Kissels closed the restaurant and merged it with their other restaurant, the City Loan Pavillon, which was later renamed the Brasserie Pavillon. They also opened Maximillien's in Pike Place Market. Brasserie Pavillon was sold in 1987, but as of 2012, Maximillien's was still open.
