With man already skirting the fringes of space and a population that
threatens to burst the world's seams by the year 2000, it is difficult to
predict with certainty what forms housing will take in the 21st Century. One thing is certain. We know that more and more people
must be squeezed onto less and less land, and gardeners and domestic
help will be even harder to find. Tomorrow's citizens may dwell in
many-storied apartments—but we suspect man will crave a private
refuge that is distinctively his own. At the same time, it is
not likely that space age man will retain the prison of today's
straightline architecture. Instead, he will yearn for exotic surroundings like those in this Home of Tomorrow. More than a
demonstration of dramatic lighting effects or a showcase for the
